4 ways to improve computer speed

Sometimes the computer is old, sometimes it has too much data stored on it and sometimes it is too busy handling too many different processes.Slow computers not only irritate their users, they also get in the way of business and productivity. The causes of a slow computer can be many.If you have a slow computer, you can improve its speed with some simple fixes

 

Clean It Out: This one is pretty straightforward – often computers run slowly because they’re bogged down storing tons of extra data like temporary media files,junk files.so try to delete them either using a good temporary file remover softs or by by deleting manually.

Also go through documents, downloaded files, music and pictures to see if you have anything you can delete or copy to backup. Uninstall programs you no longer use.

Try to limit the autostart of the installed programs as they occupy the RAM and thus the system runs slowly.Dont use softwares to manage the RAM ,as windows has capability to mange its RAM,these softs only occupy the space on disk ,and sometimes your bandwith.

Get It Healthy: You might not realize it, but one reason your computer could be running slowly is because it has been infected with malware, spyware or viruses

Update the antivirus daily,and scan your files atleast once in a week.Also use some anti-spyware  and PUPs(potentially unwanted programs).See whether any adware has not been installed on the system.

Speed Up Browsing

Your computer might be running great, but then you discover your Internet browser moves at a snail’s pace. To up the speed of your browser, first make sure that your modem or router is properly configured i.e. running on correct radio frequency(UMTS,HSPA,GPRS).

Make sure no adware or spyware or any unnecessary app is being running when you surf the net.Also don’t us any internet speed enhancing software ,they dont do anything to the speed,as speed is purely based the bandwidth

You can use traffic compression softwares like traffic compressor,it compresses the outgoing data ,allowing more space for the downloading data
